Wetmore Landing

Taken after sunrise, mid-October 2025 at Wetmore Landing, Marquette, MI. I had gone to photograph the sunrise that morning and had noticed the red and yellow colors on these trees against the green pines earlier in the morning. The sunrise had been less than spectacular this morning, but as I looked to my left, I saw another scene lighting up. I grabbed the tripod, plopped it down and quickly composed a shot as the break in the clouds was very small and the light wouldn't last long.
