Artist Biography

Garry Green is a self-taught landscape photographer based in Lapeer, Michigan. His enjoyment of photography began on a class trip to Washington, D.C., he packed three rolls of film but returned home with eight.

After borrowing his mom's camera for the better part of 2009, he got his own digital camera in 2010 and started down a long road. The road took him north throughout Michigan’s Upper Peninsula looking for rivers and waterfalls, lighthouses, and sunrises.

From his photographs, Garry creates a range of fine-art products: matted prints, greeting cards, gallery-wrapped canvas prints, and custom-framed pieces. He personally builds the frames, combining traditional craftsmanship with his own images to produce one of a kind works that bring the beauty of Michigan into homes and offices.
