Presque Isle Park

Taken in very early March of 2026, Marquette, MI. The sky was completely overcast execpt for a small clearing at the horizion. It was also relatively very warm and humid that morning, so much so that this photo was taken well before the actual sunrise. Moisture in the air is able to conduct and diffuse the light of the sun above the horizion long before the sun actually rises, moisture in the air makes the atmosphere glow.
